Player nick: Milo
Name: Vincent Giovanni
Codename: Ghost
Status: Staff - Peace Studies and Guidance Counselor in charge of Peer Mediation.. and Now in charge of the Culture Shock Workshop! [Currently Headmaster of The Facility]
DoB/Age: 27
Powers: Fields/Force and Invisibility
Power Detail: By solidifying air, Vincent is able to create pure force, such as invisible walls, or plates that float objects. The easiest form to use his ability is in that of spheres, which he can control and manipulate in size and strength, as well as movement. In the same way he creates walls, he can create small blades, or even armor, using less energy. He also has the ability to turn his entire form and his special suit invisible. He can see him self and the 'force' he uses due to his unique eyes picking up on the energy traces of his own ability. The objects he makes, spheres, walls, and blades, are not truly "invisible", they are not seen, but seeing through them makes things look distorted, like heat and gazing into the distance, it ripples. Very faint, but it is there.
Invisibility: He's always gone invisible.. But why the cold feeling? Why not go visible when unconscious? Now it's answered. Vincent technically enters another world.. The world of the unseen, of the paranormal. In short, Vincent becomes ghost-like via entering the plane in which those no longer living roam with unfinished business or a hidden agenda. The cold is due his human living body being rejected by the world. Like how a fish out of water will suffocate, Vincent may freeze and die of hypothermia.
Sight Beyond Sight: Glowing green, his gaze can now catch onto sight of those that have passed on and entered the plane he seems to be linked to. Ghosts not of that plane are not seen to him unless they first reach out to him. But just because he can see these things, does not mean he can communicate or anything more. At times ghosts however may try to reach out to him, and it's up to them to actually initiate it however. As for what he sees.. It's not zombie ghouls or like the Sixth Sense, but rather glimpses of transparent forms in green, or orbs of light.
Fields: He has the ability to imbue his "force" with a containment field. This field can contain different forms of energy such as elements, fields of manipulation, and projected abilities. It's a form of power nullification to those who find themselves or their projected powers blocked by such a wall. Vincent uses this for the protection of his trainees and helping them develop their powers.
Weakness: Once invisible, if he's weak he may have a hard time becoming visible again. If he's knocked out while invisible, he stays invisible, so there's little chance he'll get help if he needs it. There's a chance that if he continues to use that ability, he may lose the ability to grow visible or invisible again for a while. Going invisible also makes him extremely cold, and prolonged invisibility can mean hypothermia. He's also accident prone...
Background/History: Vincent likes to keep his past unknown for the most part, but his last name often has him in question by others. Yet he claims to have no affiliation with any who do "bad" under the name of Giovanni. He's a bit of a shady character overall. As a young boy a rather shady character came across him and spent time helping to magnify his abilities and control, in hopes of having another to add to his ranks. Vincent was to be in the business of disposing people, and his abilities would help with containment, if properly trained. It worked for the time, and Vincent only got better at it as he helped out in the "Family Business" he was a part of. But as things went on, Vincent found more and more this wasn't the life he wished to lead. He turned his back to it by refusing a job, and thus his family turned their back to him. Outcast, Vincent sought any place he could for "redemption" of his deeds. Guilt tears at him inside constantly over the lives he's taken. He ended up putting him self through college and further schooling in psychology and studies of war and peace. For money he ended up taking up a job as a magician's assistant. Vincent couldn't and still can't access his bank account with his funding. Thus he learned the tricks of the trade, and by entertaining others and bringing a smile to their faces, he felt he was making up for his past deeds. Vincent learned the tricks of the trade and took to the act like it was natural talent. Which it was at times thanks to his powers. He also volunteered at the Friendship House, a group home for troubled youths. Using what he learned, he was able to turn some lives around, and even sent a few of the 'different' students off to a certain school he figured could help them. One evening a letter came from the past he wished to not return to. All it said was he was to attend a meeting.. But meetings in that area.. They were normally not very good... He never did find out the intentions of the meeting, for he fled. On a plane he got... Vincent made a living as a magician, perfecting his powers in Vegas and enjoying the good life.. He received two letters in his time there, one from Xavier's Institute for Higher Learning, and another from that past... The same, that a meeting was required... Vincent went plane hopping back for New York, and ended up there.. But not in the way he planned.. Last anyone knew, his plane went crashing into the World Trade Center on 9/11....

Classes and Such:
* Peace Studies -- A class fully dedicated to the teachings of culture differences, peace over war, and the true power of words. It's not at all a "hippy" class but rather one of understanding and psyching others out with words of logic rather then fists of fury. It teaches that choice and opinion is what the world is run on, for there is no good or evil, just opinion and the logical reasons behind such. It's a very controversial class and explores all sides of subjects in the dedicated area. Of course many subjects focus upon the mutant-human relationships, working not only to explain views, but to make it clear that mutants and humans alike are not bad for their thoughts, but it is the actions done and harm that takes place that brings on the negativity, as well as stereotyping. Stereotyping plays a big role in the class.
* Culture Shock Workshop -- Every Saturday this is a 5hr workshop dedicated to ferals and newcomers to the civilized world, or America in general. This explores subjects such as: Why do people shake hands? The difference between a mate, a wife, and the subject of bigamy. Some people do not like to be sniffed... And it goes on into manners, culture gestures such as nodding, winking, and eye rolling. It's a class made to help people understand more about the world around them and special time id even taken to teach things like how to use eating utensils and such.
* Guidance Counselor -- Vincent is the go-to guy for talking. He listens to the problems of students and helps them. He also helps to work things out between those who don't get along and has a knack for getting into the minds of students-- without telepathy! He works best with those who seem rough and tough, mostly because he treats them as they should be treated, with respect and like people. He does have some odd methods however... But they work often! Like tethering students together, for one.
* Peer Mediation -- It's mostly student-run, but Vincent supervises. He teaches students to help other students work out their issues. It's a sort of positive peer pressure and helps students understand each other further, often even helping them make friends amongst one another. Peer Mediation is all about the third party system and helps students take charge and be responsible... It also gives the staff a bit of a break too! Meetings for the Mediators are every Wednesday at lunch, at which Vincent pays for their meal ranging from Chinese to pizza and is present to help and discuss issues. Of course he's available whenever needed other days too.
